Latest NewsYeatman chairs US board of TrusteesIn December, Mr. Yeatman chaired the first meeting of the United States board of trustees of Students Partnership Worldwide. Brian Yeatman will lead the board as it develops a much greater presence in the US . “I am honoured to have been selected as the inaugural Chairman of the US Board of Trustees for SPW. I have great ambitions for SPW in the US . Within a couple of years, we hope to have built a wide base of supporters for SPW programmes around the world from the US . Historically, citizens and foundations from the United States have been some of the most generous to charity in the world. SPW is a charity of stellar quality, work and governance and that is one reason I lend my support it.” Beyond building a base of donor supporters, the board will look to attract greater numbers of volunteers and to affect the Government perception of volunteer-based aid organisations like SPW. |
